Responsibilities
As Head of Legal at Bislab, your responsibilities will include:
- Leading all legal matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards across multiple jurisdictions
- Advising executive leadership on regulatory developments, and strategic implications
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex agreements, including client contracts, partnership agreements, and vendor contracts
- Managing external legal counsel and representing Bislab in legal proceedings or negotiations as necessary
- Collaborating closely with product, sales, and operations teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and legal compliance
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with significant experience in corporate law, compliance, and ideally fintech or financial services
- Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape in the Nordics and EU
- Proven ability to provide strategic legal counsel in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
